Gas Ultrasonic Flowmeter Introduction
Nowadays, all walks of life have higher and higher requirements for natural gas pipeline transportation and measurement technology. Ultrasonic flowmeter is more and more widely used in petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power and other engineering fields because of its stable measurement, small pressure loss and simple installation. Among a variety of ultrasonic flow meters, the time difference ultrasonic flow meter is the most widely used. Its detection principle is to calculate the average velocity on the sound channel propagation path and obtain the cross-sectional velocity of the pipeline by means of correction coefficient compensation. However, the measurement accuracy of ultrasonic flowmeter will be affected by many factors, such as the nature of the transmitted fluid, the Reynolds number of the fluid in the pipeline, the installation position of the flowmeter and the position of the sound channel. The change of these parameters will affect the measurement time difference of ultrasonic flowmeter.
